Amy Witterschein, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Pediatrics

Amy received a BS in Nutrition Science from Russell Sage College, Sage Graduate School for dietetic internship and MS in Applied Nutrition. Amy is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), which means she has completed an extensive supervised program of practice, and passed a nationally recognized exam. Amy has previously worked with the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, hospital, and outpatient settings specializing in pediatrics.

​Currently Amy is working on an advanced certification in pediatric food allergy. Amy enjoys cooking for her family and hosting large family events. In her free time she enjoys running and has completed 5 marathons.

Amy is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in pediatric food allergies and family-centered nutrition. At Kids Care Pediatrics, she provides practical, evidence‑based guidance to help children grow confidently and safely. Amy partners closely with families on meal planning, allergen management, and creating inclusive environments at home, school, and in the community. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and running. She has completed eight marathons, more than ten half marathons, and loves participating in local road races—experiences that fuel her commitment to helping families build healthy, active lives.
